Damon got traded by the Gulls years ago and he never intended to return. Now he is left with no choice because he gets traded back to the team. Lyra loved Damon before he got traded away by the Gulls and disappeared without a goodbye. She might have been very young at the time but she knew with her entire being that Damon was the man she should be with. Now he’s back and he’s cold and angry. Lyra is dating another player on the team. And her father is going to be angry because he never wanted her to date his former best friend because of the age difference. Is there any way that they can find a way to be happy together? This is the best story in the series in my opinion. Damon left years ago with good reasons and stayed away for good reasons. Lyra was heartbroken when he left and understandably angry. When they are suddenly forced to be around each other, it makes sense that they have a lot of tension. Lyra’s current boyfriend is a good guy who wants Lyra to feel about him the way he feels about her. His actions make a lot of sense. Even Damon’s “friend” from Seattle, Maela, has a place in the story that makes sense. And the big on is Lyra’s father. I think any father would be angry and disgusted that his best friend was with his daughter. This story had a lot of really good pieces.
Brief Summary of Unrequited Scars & All Stars
This is the story of Lyra and Damon. Lyra and Damon had been together when they were younger. Damon was a player for The Newport Gulls and he was traded and didn’t tell Lyra goodbye when he left. This hurt her and now she doesn’t want anything to do with Damon. She still has feelings for him but she doesn’t want to go through the pain of him leaving again. She is dating Cole and things get strange with them. She keeps thinking of Damon. She wants to know why he left the way he did. Damon has decided that he was going to try and get Lyra back since his feeling for her are still just as strong as they were before. Damon has had enough and he calls Maela to see if she would come for the weekend. Things don’t go the way he planned since he can’t stop thinking about Lyra. There is an event that Damon takes Maela to and Lyra is there with Cole. But things with Lyra and Cole are not going well. When she sees Damon with another woman, she gets upset. She and Cole have a talk and break up. She is standing outside and Damon comes up to talk to her. They leave the event and go to his house to talk. Lyra and Damon tell each other how they feel and about the past.
