Brief Summary of The Runaway Bride and the Highlander
The first in a new series by Fiona Faris entertains. This book introduces sisters who have gifts in their older years remembering events from 30 years earlier I believe. It was a unique beginning but for some reason I didn’t connect with the characters as well because of it. The ending circles back to the sisters in present day. I liked the mystery do not knowing about the other sisters experiences with their gifts. The epilogue was more of the ending I wanted but having to do a separate login to read it is redundant. Skylar and her sisters were best separated because they each had special gifts. Of course, that makes power hunger people want them even more. I enjoyed Skylar & Maxwells story. This book will make you want to read it all in one sitting.
