While it can be read as a standalone to get the family’s complete story, you will see other characters from previous books throughout the pages. You may also miss some of the pack’s lore and traditions by not having read the first books. Brief Summary of Making the Cut
Things have been more than difficult for Perry. Raising a baby werewolf and being a single dad who was constantly on the road. After the latest mishap with his former nanny, he had to try and hire a new nanny who could teach Mason everything from being a werewolf and how to read. It’s tough finding someone in the pack willing to give up so much of their life to help raise a little girl that’s not their own. Then Daisy fell into his lap and awoke so many feelings that he never thought he would experience after losing his mate. Daisy was having a quarter-life crisis after realizing that she didn’t want to go through another three years in university for a field that wasn’t the right fit. After finding out that Perry was looking for a nanny. It seemed like the perfect job where she didn’t have to worry about creating an excuse as to why she couldn’t work any full moon. The only bad thing, she would have to work for her dead best friend’s mate. A guy she had a crush on since they were kids.
