I must admit that I wasn’t sure if I’d like this book given the amount of men in the picture, but let me tell you that it worked. I loved all the characters and felt sorry for all the men. Oliver, Oscar, Cope, Remi and Jesse. They all had some back stories. Some worse than others. I think Copes was especially sad as his father was very vindictive and just plain cruel in my opinion. He deserved to be six feet under! It starts as daycare owner Neve signs up for a Poly App where she meets a famous writer and his friends. Neve is targeted and the story takes off from there. Without giving anything away, the scenes were smoking hot. An enjoyable steamy read!
Brief Summary of the Book
Five men and one woman. Neve is curious. The guys are willing to share. Well at least four of them are. Yes, the subplot is good. Oh, and there is a serial killer/kidnapper out there ready to muck things up since he’s set his sights on Neve. Just your average romance novel. (Please note the sarcasm in that line.)
Evie Rae and Poppy Flynn have created this wonderful mix of romantic suspense and reverse harem, populated it with hunky, protective men and a heroine open to exploring her kinkier side, and thrown in enough psychological baggage for some of them to make Five a wonderful read.
