Plenty of humor and upbeat banter and experiences. A mess of catastrophes that is both comical and painful. My favorite trope of best friend’s “little” sister. I loved this third installment. Second chances, overcoming the past, and finding your own future. There were so many characters that played key parts in this book – wonderful ones, swoon worthy, meanies… even a bit of suspish circumstances. I can’t wait to read the fourth book!
Brief Summary of the Book
Sometimes your second chance is a long time coming and that is what happens in this book. Pippa had a crush on her brother Phillip’s best friend, Chase, in high school, but all Chase seemed interested in was joining Phillip in the teasing of Pippa. The only problem, that crush was still alive and well. It didn’t help that Pippa has always been doomed to have horrible luck with constant mishaps leading to constant embarrassment. Now after more than ten years, Pippa and Chase, who had a crush on Pippa, are again thrown together when Pippa is assigned as his etiquette coach. Mix in some scheming parents, a little blackmail, a lot of misunderstanding, the bro code, and a mean girl from high school that never grew out of it and you have a fun interesting story with some surprises in store.
