Stone Princess written by Devney Perry which was published in May 5, 2020. You can read this before Stone Princess PDF EPUB full Download at the bottom. I thought this book was a bit of a diversion from the first two books in the series. It really focused on Presley and her character development. While the former Tin Gypsies and the guys from the garage were present, they seemed to take a back seat in this story line. We finally find out why Presley was so determined to stay with Jeremiah, even after all her friends and found family has tried to warn her of his ill intentions. We find out about Presley’s childhood, and why she moved to Clifton Forge in the first place. After being jilted at the alter, Presley isn’t ready for Shaw Valance, former cop and current Hollywood heartthrob, to waltz into her garage and demand her attention. Shaw is in Clifton Forge to make a movie about the murder of Amina Daylee and Presley and they guys at the garage are wary of how they will be portrayed.
Brief Summary of Stone Princess
Shaw buys the house next door to Presley and she finally realizes she’s going to miss her shot with him if she doesn’t let down some of her walls. As they spend more time together, they both fall for each other and share some secrets and truths they haven’t shared in the past. But Shaw’s departure and subsequent misunderstanding put a halt to their relationship. When Shaw finally returns, it’s for good and he has a lot to apologize for to make Presley realize there will never be anyone else for her. There was a little suspense at the end, but overall there wasn’t much mention of the Warriors or what was going on with their tentative truce with Dash and the old Tin Gypsies. I liked this book better than the first two, but there were definitely some plot points I could have done without. It all worked out in the end, but I’m excited to see where the next book goes with Scarlett, Presley’s twin, and Luke, the new police chief.
