I thought with necromancers it was going to be a lot of zombies (which creep me out), but it really wasn’t. A good chunk of it is Nell finding out that she has the deathmark, and will probably die in a few months. So she decides to live her life how she chooses, with the help of Rowe.
Another chunk is Nell and Rowe realizing some things aren’t adding up about the DeathmarkAnd of course my favorite chunk is the romance! I loved Nell’s spunk. I loved Rowe’s grumpiness, but loved even more how much Rowe looked out for Nell. I loved the pacing, everything flowed, and I never, not once, thought the story lagged. I loved the ending. I loved Rowe’s cheekiness and how embarrassed Nell would get, and then how sassy she would get. This is a great read
