This is the 2nd book in the mate games Pestilence. This story has it all. And what I mean by that is you will laugh at parts. Your anxiety from the antsy will be overwhelming at parts, and the sexy scenes on my my my my my, Get ready because they are absolutely top. I really thought sex scenes couldn’t be more than what I’ve already read, but these wow. We got dominance, and we got multiple partners wow baby you got it all when it comes to the sex scenes. And it’s not just the sex scenes because it’s got one h*** of a story going through it that I can’t freaking wait to find out how this goes and the ending is going to leave you like what the heck. All I can say is get ready to get hooked. Cause you will want to read every single one of these books And you will be sitting here like when’s the next one come out because I’m in a hurry now. You do need to listen to the 1st one before you listen to this 2nd 1. And that if you do it by listening, it’ll have that little pre book in that 1st audio. But if you’re reading it, then you have to read the little Novella and end the 1st book and then this one, and like I said, he’ll be sitting here going hurry up for the 3rd. I want to say a little bit about the narration because like I said I did the audio and these narrators are just absolutely top notch they do such an outstanding job and bringing this story to life.
Brief Summary of Claimed by the Shifters
This series picks up so much steam in Claimed by the Shifters that you will need to hang on for dear life! You’ll be on the edge of your seat, laughing and/or fanning yourself every single minute of this book! It is just as action packed, thrilling, steamy and funny as the first one, if not more. Things just keep getting more complicated in Rosie’s life. Her relationship with each of her men changes and deepens as they see each other through their own ordeals. Remi and Ben are as different as twins could possibly be, but yet they complement each other. Asher is steady and true all while dealing with a mysterious curse. Gavin isn’t fond of sharing, but he really doesn’t have a choice. (The Bridgerton jokes that Remi throws at him are hilarious!) But while they might not be one big happy family yet, they always have Rosie’s best interests at heart. They even manage to help each other out as they fall more deeply in love with her. I love that Rosie is coming into her own, growing bolder and becoming more self-assured (both in and out of the bedroom!). And might I say, the steamy scenes are so incredibly hot! In fact, some are so spicy that you will immediately hit replay to listen all over again. Things seem to be falling into place for about a minute, until others with devious plans stir things up. Pan is up to no good again and he leaves us gasping in shock! I can’t wait to see what happens to our favorite lady vampire and her harem next! The narration is just as stellar as the writing! This cast is incredible and spot on as they bring these unique and colorful characters to life. Stella Hunter, Teddy Hamilton, J.F. Harding, John Hartley, James Joseph and Jacob Morgan are fantastic all around. Between the impeccable acting, expertly spoken lines, and masterful timing, this is the perfect and ideal way to experience this epic fantasy. This is fantasy storytelling at its best!!
