This is a handy little device, I opted for this to put on my vehicle in case of theft instead of a larger gps device that neededs a monthly subscription. I also like that it takes a very small battery that gets changed out regularly when its empty instead of a huge rechargeable lithium battery thats more of a fire hazard. So I trust this more and it easy to hide just about anywhere. The accuracy has a delay, but works just fine for the general area it’s in because theres lots of people and their phones nearby to catch the signal so I get it updated every few minutes. If I had a dog or cat I would put it on them too! The price is right.

The quick start guide could be a little better. The first one stalled during setup and just told me to keep waiting. I was afraid to mess up pairing but after a few minutes I figured something was up and stopped/restarted the process. It refistered in a couple seconds that time. Same with the other. One of them stopped connecting without warning after about 2 weeks. I was traveling so I wasn’t sure if it was just out of range, broken, or missing. When I was able to get to it I followed the reset instructions and was able to connect again. At that point it the battery was low, but not critically low. It took me a few days to get around to getting more batteries, and in that time the battery was still showing low, but functioning, so I’m not sure why it just stopped working like it did. It’s a little disconcerting, though. That certainly would defeat the purpose if my bag was actually missing or stolen. When they work properly they seem to track accurately. My wife uses the apple tracker and and our luggage always seemed to register in the same places respectively. The left behind notifications worked about the same as well.
